Heavy rain and winds are expected that could result in flooding, falling trees and power problems for the area.
Renowned Greenwich Restaurant to Host Fundraiser for Sound Beach: Tuesday, September 02, 2008: Baang Café and Bar, located at 1191 East Putnam Avenue in Riverside, CT, will be hosting an event on Monday, September 22, 2008 to raise money for the Sound Beach Volunteer Fire Department. The fundraiser, which is open to the public, will be held from 6 - 10PM.
Firehouse Front Ramp Construction Project: Tuesday, May 27, 2008: Please be advised that construction crews will be starting work to replace the front ramp of the Sound Beach Firehouse on Monday, June 2, 2008. The project will take approximately one month to complete.

Greenwich Fire Department Receives Life Safety Achievement Award: 10/21/08: The Residential Fire Safety Institute (RFSI) has presented the Greenwich Fire Department with a Life Safety Achievement Award for the year 2007.
